Dr. Martha Rich has been teaching and lecturing internationally on the diagnostic relationships between masticatory muscle function, craniofacial pain, and malocclusion for almost 30 years. During that time, she has completed thousands of hours of continuing education in TMD, pain management, neuromuscular dentistry, functional and traditional orthodontics, cosmetic and vertical reconstruction, implants, and more. She was a member of the American Association of Functional Orthodontics for 14 years before joining the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) in 2009. She holds fellowships with the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, a fellowship and mastership with the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, and is an IAO Senior Certified Instructor.
Dr. Rich is currently teaching a study club in Portland, in association with the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry on Early Orthodontic Intervention with Functional Appliances.
