I was invited to do a lecture and a workshop. It was a fun meeting with great presenters, superb food, and excellent company. I heartily recommend it. The pregnancy lecture had over 100 attending. What a great crowd.
The next day it was an intimate workshop regarding pharmacology, sedation, and how to avoid problems.
I would do it again in a heart beat. A special thanks to Alison Hall and Lane Shupe.
COORS dentists had the first Fall meeting yesterday. We discussed fatty acids and their relationship to health, logical fallacies, problems in scientific literature in general and nutrition literature in specific, and
how COORS wants to proceed in the future. Dr. Sakai will be checking venues for a retreat later in the year. We also had Dr. Jim Hutt join us via Skype. He led us through a discussion of the importance of empathy in healthy relationships then explored specific examples that members posed. He wrote me later, saying that it was great fun and he would do it again anytime. His honorarium was donated to the
Jikoji Zen Center in Los Gatos, California
The meeting finished with a great lunch. It was an inspiring morning. Each member was challenged to bring a guest that is an eager learner, a willing teacher, or both. Next meeting is 7 November 2014 at Club Green Meadows, 8:30 AM.
