Today we continued our exploration of current literature, nutrition, disease, and technology. There was also an important discussion of the role empathy plays in health practice and the changes coming in medicine in that regard. It will play a critical role in the survival of private practice in coming years.
We discussed new research published on milk consumption, theobromine containing dentrifrices, and cognition improvement by means of cocoa extracts. Dene LeBeau joined us by Skype to chat about new developments in implants and CAD/CAM technology. The plan for Geshla Tashi's program is taking shape and will happen in February. It has the potential to be an inspirational community gathering. Dave Hutt and Meredith Marsh (Colgate Representative) joined us and added to the discussion. Next month our Skype speaker is psychologist, Dr. Jim Hutt, speaking about vulnerability as researched by Dr. Brene Brown. It was a fun and stimulating meeting. Dave
