![]() I am putting up a series of pages created by Dr. Bill Landis, one of the most cited scientists of the 60's and 70's. He was the former Senior Science adviser to NIH until 1978. He is old and smart. This is an effort by him for people to know what to eat. You will find the pages in the "MORE" section. Just click on "Omega 3/6 Balance". The simple way to look at these charts is you want a high balance score and a low volume score. For instance, look at the "Oil, Sweets, Snacks, Drinks". The fourth item is cod liver oil. It has a balance of 139.7 (a high 3 to 6 ratio) and a 0.4 volume score (does't take much). That really works to reduce omega 6 load. The sixth entry is brewed tea, which has a balance score of 2 (good) but a volume score of 333 (meaning you would need to drink gallons). I believe this will provide some guidance as to efficacy of food items. Dave
